Privacy policy

Information and purposes
- Account information: email address, account identifier, chosen display name and optional profile description and photo. These support sign-in, account settings and your own participation history. A description may contain up to 280 Unicode characters.
- Authentication: passwords, verification codes and session credentials are processed to verify identity, recover access and protect the account. Do not send passwords, codes or session credentials to support.
- Purchases and activity: product and order identifiers, store transaction references, fixed Bite quantities, payment status, price and currency where available, contribution totals and refund or reversal information. These verify purchases, update the shared artwork, recover interrupted orders, prevent abuse and support reconciliation and purchase reporting.
- Support: messages and information you choose to provide, such as your registered email, app version and order reference, to investigate a request.
- Service operation: technical request and security records may be processed by hosting and purchase providers. Purchase reporting includes analytics; service records are also used for reliability and security.
Your profile and shared activity
The current contribution lists show generic participant labels, fixed Bite quantities and participation activity. Your signed-in app can personalize your own entry with your profile. The current public list interface does not include other users' email addresses, chosen names, descriptions or photo paths. Purchase and account records remain linked internally; generic public labels do not make all processing anonymous.
Photos and device storage
A profile photo is optional. You choose an image, position and crop it on the device, and the cropped image is uploaded for your account. Access to photos or the camera depends on the permission you grant on your device. The app stores account, session and pending-order information locally for sign-in and recovery. The final permissions, caches, backups and photo metadata handling must be verified before publication.
Service providers
The prepared service uses Supabase for authentication, data and photo storage; RevenueCat and Apple App Store or Google Play for purchase verification and purchase reporting; Cloudflare for service connectivity; and Alibaba Cloud Mail for support correspondence. Store payments are handled by the relevant store. The final production provider list, authentication email delivery provider, contracts and processing regions must be confirmed before this policy takes effect.
Retention and account deletion
The deletion implementation is designed to remove sign-in identity, profile and photo data when a verified deletion request completes. Some purchase, contribution, refund and security records may be retained for payment reconciliation, fraud prevention or applicable legal obligations. Such records can retain an internal account identifier; they are not described as anonymous. Retained public contribution totals do not require publishing your profile.
Deletion can involve several stages. A request receipt or disabled account does not mean that all cleanup is complete. Support can explain the status and any records retained for a stated purpose. The retention schedule and provider and backup handling are still being finalized; this policy cannot take effect until those conditions are resolved.
Access, correction and requests
You can edit your profile and contact support@tapebanana.fun to request access, correction, deletion or other applicable privacy rights. See Delete your account for the request route. We may need to verify account ownership using an appropriate secure process. Never email a password or one-time code. The current export candidate provides account data in JSON and does not include the photo image file.
International processing and eligibility
Tape Banana is intended for worldwide distribution, including Mainland China, subject to store availability and regional requirements. Service providers may process data outside your country. Production processing locations, applicable legal bases, transfer safeguards and age eligibility have not yet been finalized; this candidate does not authorize international processing or establish an age threshold.
Changes
The published policy will identify its effective date and explain how material changes are communicated. This page is currently a review draft.
