The experience

Tape Banana is a participatory digital artwork. Viewing is free and purchases are optional. A Bite is a fixed unit of participation in an edition, not a physical banana, cash reward, charitable donation receipt or transferable balance.

Bites and local prices

Each product adds the stated fixed number of Bites when its purchase is verified and fulfilled. The actual price and currency come from your store and are shown before purchase. Local prices, taxes or exchange rates do not change the product's Bite quantity. Progress and rankings use Bites, not totals of mixed currencies. When an edition is completed, the next edition's target increases by one Bite.

Edition closure and concurrent purchases

The owner-approved release rule is that the server closes new orders when an edition reaches its target. Purchases from orders created before closure that have actually been paid continue through verification and recovery, with each transaction credited only once to that edition. Concurrent purchases can exceed the target: if an edition has 7 of 13 Bites and two participants each purchase 5 Bites before closure, its final total can be 17 of 13 Bites. These purchases do not create a wallet, carryover credit or an automatic refund. This rule is being implemented and has not been verified in the deployed service.

Confirmation and interrupted purchases

A store payment and the app's contribution confirmation are separate steps. The server determines whether a verified purchase has been fulfilled. If an order is pending, use its status recovery route or contact support with the order reference before paying again.

If a paid purchase is not fulfilled or you believe a charge is incorrect, contact support@tapebanana.fun and use the store's applicable refund process. Outcomes depend on the transaction and applicable store and consumer rules. Account deletion does not initiate a refund. No automatic refund, fixed refund time, wallet or carryover credit is offered by these terms. Mandatory consumer rights are not waived.

Profiles and acceptable use

Use a profile name, description and photo that you have the right to use. Do not impersonate others or submit unlawful or abusive material. Your profile and participation information are handled as described in the privacy policy candidate. This edition of the public lists uses generic participant labels rather than publishing other users' profile content.

Account control and support

See account deletion and support. Deleting an app account does not itself cancel or refund a store purchase; payment and refund records may need separate handling.

Availability and eligibility

The intended release covers worldwide markets, including Mainland China, subject to store availability and regional requirements. Age eligibility and any region-specific consumer terms must be finalized before publication. This candidate does not establish a minimum age or confirm that the production service is live.
